This is an example of Luxfer Prism Glass. I am looking for a few pieces of these glass tiles produced in the United States by the Luxfer Prism Company in the early 1900's. The glass was produced clear. The manufacturer added manganese to regular green glass to make it clear. However, over time, the ultra-violet radiation from the sun turned the clear glass into shades of violet. If you know of someone, especially in the mid-west, who is into architectural salvage, please pass their info on to me or have them call me. Thank you, Trey Strock
Depending on how much you are looking for, and if your preference is the original clear or aged violet, you could try eBay. I have been able to find some unique architectural items on there before.
